Bendigo North Ryde Community Bank – Getting the Show on the Road

Bendigo North Ryde Community Bank has found another interesting way to give back to the community by purchasing a mobile broadcasting van for local community radio station, 2RRR.

“As a Community Bank, we enjoy giving back to the community in as many different ways as possible,” Bank Manager, Pat Italiano said.
“We contribute a lot to local sporting clubs, schools and local art societies and this is just another way to show the community that we are here to support them wherever the need may be”.
“The mobile broadcasting van has long been on the wishlist of 2RRR and we thought this would be a great way to partner with a community group that provides a valuable service to our local community”, Mr Italiano said.
2RRR usually broadcasts live from local fairs and festivals such as Granny Smith and Moocooboola and the new mobile broadcasting van will make this a much easier task for the volunteers who have had to use several vehicles in the past to transport all the equipment and people needed for such a venture.
The van will be launched this Saturday, 1 August, outside the Bendigo North Ryde Community Bank at Cox’s Road Mall between 12pm – 1pm with a live broadcast and showbags for the first 100 people.
