JB’s World

EASTER IS just around the corner and on Saturday April 4 we would have held the annual West Ryde Easter Parade and Fair initiated by The Weekly Times with West Ryde Chamber of Commerce 27 years ago. Sadly we will have to wait for next year for all the fun of the fair!
THIS WEEK we remember Arthur Ashford The Weekly Times’ first paperboy who would be 107 on Friday but passed away late in 2018 aged 106.
On his 105th birthday last he attributed his longevity and good health to delivering The Weekly Times in his youth and actively continued reading The Weekly Times every week of his life!
